The Teg Tab origin story

The Teg Tab product was designed and refined in the field by two long-serving tradesmen more through necessity than good planning.

Whilst operating a medium sized contracting company covering all aspects of interior fit-out projects, we came across a situation in a shopping mall fit-out where the owners decided at the last minute to change the tile detail from square to tegular.

The ceiling grid had already been installed and with time running out, we had to come up with a solution very quickly.
It was decided to somehow fill the gap at the grid/wall mould joint to allow for the difference and to provide a “solid” packer which would not compress when riveted together.

Thus Teg Tab was born and refined into the final item, which is an easy to use, no nonsense “go to” product.
